Try This @ Home:: Teeny Tiny Potatoes!

I am not a cook.  I try, I really do.  But… honestly, I am no good.

This recipe is so easy and I make these at least once a week.  at least.

Trader Joe’s has the Teeny Tiny Potatoes.

Once you get those, I would almost bet you already have everything else you need.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb teeny tiny potatoes
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • fresh cracked pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh rosemary (or herbs such as thyme or dill)

Depending on the day, I will sometimes and onion or chives, parmesan cheese, garlic… sometimes I make them for breakfast.  I’m sure you could get creative.

Directions:
1. Clean the potatoes and dry them well.
2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
3. Place the potatoes in a bowl. Toss with the olive oil, rosemary, salt and pepper until well coated. Transfer to a baking sheet and spread out evenly.
4. Roast in the oven, until golden on the outside and cooked through on the inside, about 25 minutes.
5. Season as necessary.

EAT and ENJOY!

Music that Inspires:: Jack White

I’m a little bitter because I will NOT be seeing Jack White at the Orange Peel in May. We were for sure going to get these tickets because we passed on the very last White Stripes show to come near this area only
to find out a short time later that the band was calling it quits.

So, here’s Jack. I find him strangely attractive. I know… I know.

And let’s not forget that before Jack White was solo, there was Meg… and The White Stripes:

What I Wore:: Soar Necklace

As a little girl, my grandfather always gave me jewelry.  GOLD jewelry.  REAL gold jewelry.  One of my favorite things he ever gave me was a charm for my charm bracelet.  It was a glass heart with gold flakes inside.  I remember being amazed by the charm and how I wish I could make something like that.  I think that charm inspired a lot of the jewelry I make today.

That story has absolutely nothing to do with what I wore today, but I just wanted to share it.

Today I wore one of my newest necklaces.  The Soar Necklace.

It’s hand knotted, with the most sparkly beads I’ve ever seen.  I love sparkle!!!!  The feather is carved bone.

I can’t seem to capture the sparkle on camera… but trust, it’s there!

I only have four left.  You can get yours ::HERE::

Coming Soon… It’s Electric!

I like to wear my new jewelry before I make it available to the public.  It allows me to receive feedback from my friends, family and strangers before they know it’s something I’ve made myself.  It also allows me to determine how well the piece will hold up.  Whether I should make changes… etc…

I’ve been wearing this necklace for the past month.  I LOVE IT!  I have to be honest.  It is not my original idea.  I must give credit where credit is due!

One weekend my husband went out of town, my daughter went to her grandparents, and I had lots of orders to get out.  I downloaded about 12 movies and set up shop right in front of the TV.  One of the movies I watched was “Friends with Benefits”.  I had to watch the movie a second time because I was distracted by Mila’s necklace in the movie.  It was so delicate, and long, and worked well with every outfit!

As I was watching the movie, I was also searching for the necklace.  I found it!

click the ::HERE:: to link to Lizzie’s store and purchase the official necklace!

If you are purchasing the “official” necklace.  Be aware that the necklace provided is only 16 inches.  The one Mila wears is at least double that.

Since the original necklace isn’t really in my budget, I decided to make a more affordable one.  My lightning bolt is Sterling Silver, and the chain is silver plated.  I will offer it in the 32″ length down to the 16″.

These photos were taken (by Wild Blueberry Ink) last weekend at our family reunion.  I know you’re going to ask… so, the scarf is from Banana Republic… and the nail polish is essie “scarlett o hara”.  And yes, I am aware that my manicure is terrible.  I was in a hurry :)
